Hey French translator!
A few questions before we kick off:
Do you speak and write French on a native level? Do you love yarn and everything related to it? Would you like to work remotely from wherever and whenever it fits you? Then look no further!
We need help translating our crochet and knitting patterns, and other content, from English (and Danish) to French. It is therefore very important that you are fluent in crochet and knitting, too.
We are looking for a translator who can convey messages about yarn, crocheting and knitting and help us deliver the best experience for our customers. Your grammar skills are superb and you’re a good communicator. You know how to use language in a dynamic and natural way, so our customers get excited about the texts they encounter on our website - and not least so they can clearly understand and follow the patterns.

Enough about us, we think you
- Have experience with knitting and crocheting and can read patterns
- Are fluent in French and have great grammar skills
- Are fluent in knitting and crocheting lingo
- Have experience with (pattern) translation
- Are able to set aside some time everyday for translations
The job is flexible when it comes to the amount of hours you work per week and you can influence how much you work. This is a freelance position, not a full-time position. We always help each other and work as a team - so whenever you have questions or requests you can reach out to us!
