This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Electrical/Mechatronics Engineer to join an SME electrical automation company based on the Cavan/Meath border. Our company provides bespoke electrical and automation control systems supports to a range of clients across the robotics, power generation, food and beverage, waste processing, medical device and data centre sectors.
This a great opportunity to be a part of a small, dedicated team in which you will undertake a wide variety of technical work and develop your skillset across a broad range of electro-mechanical systems.

Duties Include:
- Troubleshooting and repair of PLC systems, IO, communication networks, electrical control and PID loops
- To liaise with and support customers throughout all stages of project delivery with a professional and 'can-do' approach
- Generate/modify CAD drawings to support project delivery
- Produce detailed, professionally compiled reports for clients as required.
- Assist in the design, development, construction, installation and commissioning of electrical and mechanical control systems e.g. Servo systems, VSDs, Control Panels, Instrumentation and Control Valves.
- Modifications of PLC’s input and output programming and design software.
- Complete all documentation to the highest quality and oversee all acceptance testing.
- Carry out basic electrical troubleshooting when required.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified to degree level 7 or 8 in Electronics systems, Mechatronics, Automation / Controls Technology
- Some experience working within Automation/Mechatronics Environment.
- Understanding of PLC Programming.
- Knowledge of Industrial Automation/Robotics.
- Knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Systems.
- Ability to carry out Electrical System builds.
- Positive attitude towards work with a willingness to continually learn.
- Well organised approach to work.
- Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication.

Salary: €27,000.00-€33,000.00 per year
