Job Description:
As an SQA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with the development team to understand requirements, develop test strategies, and execute test plans. Your attention to detail, analytical mindset, and passion for delivering high-quality software will contribute to the success of our products.
Responsibilities:
· Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and design specifications.
· Execute functional, integration, regression, and performance tests to identify software defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
· Collaborate with the development team to understand the technical aspects of the software and provide early feedback during the development lifecycle.
· Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system and assist in their resolution.
· Participate in design and code reviews to provide quality input and ensure adherence to coding standards.
· Conduct risk analysis and prioritize testing activities based on the impact and likelihood of potential defects.
· Continuously improve the software testing process by identifying areas for automation, efficiency, and effectiveness.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and ensure that software meets or exceeds customer expectations.
· Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in software quality assurance.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
· 2 to 4 years of experience as an SQA Engineer, preferably in a software product development environment.
· Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
· Experience in designing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
· Proficient in using bug tracking tools and test management systems.
· Solid knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
· Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The position is full-time and onsite.
Office located at Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi
Timings: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Rs100,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
