We are now looking for a technically-oriented CTO for our client company Heltti. We are seeking a highly motivated person to continue the great technical work of the current position holder together with the team of 5 software development professionals.

The role:
As a part of a relatively small development team, the ideal candidate will have a strong technical background (especially AWS) and a track record of leading successful technical initiatives.
As a CTO, you are a member of the management and you participate in planning the company's overall strategy. You are working in this business critical role as the link between technological solutions and customer requirements.
In a nutshell your goals include developing and maintaining:
The overall architecture and vision of Heltti’s technological solutions- Information security
- Technological choices
- Dialogue and co-operation between the business and technology
- The total costs of system maintenance and development
- Team competence and development together with the Team Lead
To succeed in this role, we hope that you have:
- The ability to think strategically and manage large technical entities
- 10+ years of experience in software development
- Practical experience in working closely with AWS & Python. TypeScript/React are also preferred
- Previous evidence of success in leading software development projects and/or teams
- A bold personality with a capability to make difficult solutions
- Experience related to data protection and security and/or certifications and GDPR
- An understanding of the nature of highly regulated industries, preferably healthcare
Heltti platform:
Heltti is a native digital platform that provides health and wellbeing services for professionals doing thought work. The platform offers tools and resources to support employees in their physical and mental health, such as access to healthcare professionals, wellness programs, and coaching. This platform also works as an ERP system for our own staff.

The team’s working language is English. However, considering all of the close stakeholders related to this role, fluent Finnish skills are seen as an advantage.

When starting the recruitment process, a salary range of 7000-8000 € has been planned. We are also open to considering other salary offers from qualified candidates.
