Position Overview
In order to foster and grow new Puratos talents and further strengthen our marketing team in Denmark, the North European Region and globally, we are currently looking for a:
Global Graduate Trainee – Marketing
This three-year program, based in different geographical areas, is an ideal opportunity for a high-potential graduate to embark on a career journey with international exposure within our company and perform three assignments, as each assignment is set to last for about one year.
We envision that you will be spending two years at our new Puratos Denmark site in Give, and one year abroad, before landing back in Denmark or somewhere else in the Puratos world, depending on what the future might hold. First year you will be working with and in parallel to our marketing teams on specific assignments and projects for the Danish and the Nordic markets.
You will report directly to the Regional Director Northern Europe but work closely with the Danish organisation and the regional marketing team.
Key Accountabilities
- Take ownership for very specific sales and marketing projects linked to winning new and growing existing business areas.
- Prepare marketing approach and launch plans for different customer channels and manage certain product categories.
- Generate and analyse market insights, consumer trends and preferences, and ensure good customer and category understanding.
- Execute the prepared approaches and plans, including communication, product management and customer marketing.
- Arrange customer events and innovation days at our innovation centre and join customer meetings and presentations.
- Work closely with our dedicated local sales and R&D teams in preparing a complete business development approach to the markets.
- Work closely with our local Marketing Coordinator, Regional Marketing Manager, and global marketing stakeholders on broader marketing activities.
- To be locally involved, follow-up your projects, and join trainings and seminars, expect to travel to other Nordic countries and our headquarters in Belgium, minimum 25 days the first year.
Required Competencies
- You have recently finished your studies and are looking to start an exciting career in marketing in an international company.
- You have strong business and marketing knowledge, e.g. from a Bachelor (HA) or ideally a Masters in sales and marketing (cand.merc.).
- You are fluent in both Danish and English.
- You might have experience from relevant work during your studies.
- You have an international mindset and good cultural understanding
- You are commercially strong with a good technical understanding.
- You are open to learn, self-driven, analytical and structured.
- You can work independently and take ownership, as well as work in teams with other functional experts.
- You have the required knowledge of MS office and perhaps other relevant digital solutions.
- You are ready to spend minimum one year abroad during the program.
